Megalochori is a beautiful village that records back to the 17th century. People here, have been producing and trading wine for centuries, and many continue to do the same thing up to present days. The village is surrounded by old vineyards and is home to some really good wineries. IIt is popular for visitors to walk from one side of the village to the other, and see the traditional white houses with yards full of flowers, explore the narrow alleys, and stay away from the noise even during the high seazon. In the middle of the village, you can find a cute little square, just next to the village church, where you can relax having a coffee, a snack, or a meal in one of the very beautiful restaurants .
