Near the beautiful village of Akrotiri, you can find the Akrotiri lighthouse. Built in the 18th century, is becoming popular mainly due to its location, which is not developed ( built up ), and from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the nearby volcanic islands. The sunset from the area of the lighthouse is amazing, and is reccommended for those who prefer more quiet places.
