Eborio village is located in the south part of Santorini. The interesting area of the village, is the old part of it, which can only be accessed on foot. As in the past centuries the villages of the islands suffered pirate raids, the villages where built like small castles, whith houses one next to the other, small doors and windows, and in a way that one should make circles in order to get from one side of the village to the other. That helped islanders to defend themselves. You can walk in the tiny alleys , discover hidden churches, and see parts of the village which have been the same for centuries
